Do You Know Your Carbon Footprint?

Most people are sensitive to the truth that their daily living, in some way, adds to the pollution of the environment.

We take in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. The emissions from mining operations, factories, and vehicles are a few of the sources of CO2.

The CO2 gases get trapped in the earth's environment, causing unhealthy air that just has nowhere to go. The effect that each of us has on the environment is called our Carbon Footprint.

"Keep your carbon footprint down, or we'll all be drowned."

-Vicharoo

Lots of elements add to our individual carbon footprint, including where

  • We live
  • The size of our home
  • How old our devices are
  • What we drive
  • How much air travel we do...

While there is no other way to remove our carbon footprint to slow climate change; there are things we can do to lower the size of our "shoe".

In order to lower our carbon footprint, we must first know what size we are. There are few online carbon footprint calculators that are basic to use and will quickly show you how much your carbon burden is.

By understanding what our individual impact is, we can then work on decreasing it. There are numerous organizations that continually endeavor to offset and reduce the damages by Carbon emissions, consisting of wind power, reforestation jobs, and solar energy jobs, including Conservation

Interacting to individually lower our personal carbon footprint can be good for our planet, our future, and the future of generations to come.
